    New Makassar Port Makes 28.18 Percent

    Makassar – PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Persero) has realized the construction of the mega project of Makassar New Port (MNP) to 28.18 percent as of July 31, 2017.

    “The realization exceeds the planned 27.69 percent at the end of July 2017 or there is a deviation of +0.49 percent,” said Head of MNP Project Management Unit, Arwin in Makassar, Monday (7/8/2017)

    He said Pelindo IV was trying to speed up the construction of the MNP project.

    According to him, the realization is the total of the construction of MNP phase I package A, B and C, each of which has reached 36.46 percent, 25.72 percent and 27.46 percent.

    Activities that are currently being done, Arwin continued, on package A secant pile iron production and reclamation or replacement of soft soil (soil replace).

    JAKARTA – PT Terminal Petikemas Surabaya (TPS) is preparing to face the strategic environment changes that surround it, including the end of cooperation between PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III and Dubai World Port in managing the container terminal facility.

    4 Terminals Can Spill over 20 Ships from JICT

    JAKARTA – Four other import export terminals at Tanjung Priok Port have been designated to get overflow or transfer of 20 vessel services due to JICT strike action which will be implemented by Jakarta International Container Terminal (JICT) union on 3-10 August 2017.

    President Director of PT JICT Gunta Prabawa said that the assignment of 20 ships from JICT through coordination meeting with the Tanjung Priok Port Authority office.

    “There are 20 vessels delegated from JICT other terminals as contingency plan if JICT workers strike occurs,” he told Bisnis on Wednesday (2/8/2017).

    The transfer of the ship from JICT is to the Koja container terminal as many as seven ships, New Priok Container Terminal One (NPCT-1) of six ships, Terminal 3 Tanjung Priok five ships and to Mustika Alam Lestari (MAL) Terminal two vessels.
