    13 AP II Airports Become Digital Travel Destinations for Millennials

    BIJB Airport was built since December 2015 with an airport project value reaching Rp 2.6 trillion. Kertajati will have a terminal with a capacity of 5.6 million passengers per year.

    PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) or AP II wants to make the 13 airports it manages as a digital tourist destination. This concept is applied to reap more and more millennial consumers.

    AP II Managing Director Muhammad Awaluddin said, the application of the concept of digital tourism at the airport is expected to give a different impression for airline service users.

    Angkasa Pura Airports Serves 96.5 Million Passengers in 2018, the Biggest Ngurah Rai Airport

    This figure grew 7.6 percent compared to 2017 with 89.7 million passengers.

    I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali is still the largest passenger contributor with 23.7 million passengers, or a 12.6 percent growth compared to the previous year.

    Meanwhile, Semarang General Ahmad Yani Airport recorded the highest passenger growth among other Angkasa Pura I airports with an increase of 16.4 percent, from 4.42 million passengers in 2017 to 5.12 million passengers in 2018.

    Asperindo Asks Regulated Agent Rate (RA) Reviewed

    JAKARTA – Chairman of the Association of Express Delivery Service, Post and Logistics Indonesia (Asperindo) Mohamad Feriadi asked operators regulated agents to review the matter of tariff determination.

    “At least we want to be cost-reasonable, do not have a profit element because it is managing a private element may be reviewed, or indeed if deleted will be very good,” he said on Monday (2/7/2018).

    In addition, he said RA should be managed by the government. “This should be the responsibility of the government (public service) and should not be delegated to private companies whose orientation is definitely profit making business,” he said.

    Singapore Airlines on Monday celebrated its inaugural Boeing 787-10 aircraft flight in Denpasar, Bali. Flight SQ942 departs Singapore Changi Airport at 0915 (Singapore time) and arrives at Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali at 1155 (WITA).

    While the return flight SQ943 departs from Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali at 1500 (WITA) and arrives at Singapore Changi Airport at 1740 (Singapore time).

    The celebration of the inaugural flight was witnessed by Mr. Anil Kumar Nayar, Ambassador of Singapore for Indonesia, Mr. Anak Gede Yuniartha Son Son, Head of Bali Tourism Office, and Mr. W K Lim, Singapore Airlines Regional Vice President of South East Asia.

    The event was also attended by officials from the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia, as well as partners and guests of the honorable invitation of the local travel industry.

    AP I Increase Landing & Parking Rates, INACA: No Loss, Why Increased?

    JAKARTA – Tariffs for landing, placement and airplane storage services (PJP4U) services at all airports of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) are expected to keep in mind the condition of the airline industry.

    The head of the Indonesian National Air Carriers Association (INACA) Bayu Sutanto said that airport operators should be sensitive to aviation industry conditions that are disrupted due to rising US dollar and avtur prices.

    Angkasa Pura I Urges Increase in Landing Tariff and Aircraft Parking

    JAKARTA – PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) has proposed the tariff increase of landing service, placement and storage of aircraft (PJP4U) of all airports under its management to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of the Ministry of Transportation.

    Israwadi, Corporate Secretary of AP I, said that the tariff increase of PJP4U service is a consequence of the investment cost that has been issued by the company to develop the airport.

    “We have proposed the raising of PJP4U such as landing charge and placement, because so far the apron in several airports has been expanded,” said Israwadi, Monday (2/7/2018).

    It hopes the regulator, namely Ditjen Hubud can immediately provide a decision related to the submission. The upgrade is expected to be implemented in August or September this year.

The results of the paper test conducted at 13:19 WITA showed nil results of volcanic ash kdi airport aerodrome area.

    Currently operational activities have returned to normal and International Airport I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Bali will operate for 24 hours today to support the normalization process of flight rotation (flight recovery) in accordance with applicable procedures.

    Gunung Agung Today: Breaking News- Ngurah Rai Airport Closed, Volcanic Ash Mount Mount Predicted to Reach 23 Thousand Feet

    MANGUPURA – Airport Community I Gusti Ngurah Rai held a meeting together to discuss the current condition of Gunung Agung activity, Friday (29/6/2018) morning.

    The meeting was chaired by the Head of Airport Authority Region IV Bali Nusra, Herson in Space Jepun Building Wisti Sabha Angkasa Pura I.

    “The Darwin VAAC ploting predicted a spreading above the surface with a height of 23,000 feet with a speed of 10 knots, already covered the air space of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport – so we decided to temporarily shut down the airport operation,” Herson said.

    He added that the operation of the airport closed approximately 16 hours from 03.00 pm until 19.00 pm tonight.
