• Heavy rain, Ngurah Rai Airport is safe to operate

    Denpasar  – International Airport Management I Gusti Ngurah Rai said flight operations at the airport were safe despite heavy rains in South Bali since Tuesday (19/12).

    “Although the rain is heavy but the visibility is still good 1,500-1000 meters,” said Head of Public Relations International Airport I Gusti Ngurah Rai Arie Ahsanurrohim in Denpasar, Wednesday.

    BMKG estimates that there is moderate to heavy rain that can be accompanied by strong winds in a number of areas in Bali, among them in Pecatu, Jimbaran, Tuban, Badung and Mendoyo regencies in Jembrana District.

    The rain extends to the area of ​​ungasan, Nusa Dua, Kuta, North Kuta, Denpasar, Tabanan, Kerambitan, Kediri, Pekutatan, Selemadeg, Mengwi, Sukawati and surrounding areas which are expected to last until 12.00 WITA.
